Lesson 1: Building Relationships with the Agricultural Community
Learning Outcomes

Now that we’ve covered why it’s so important to train farm families and workers on how to make an effective 911 call, the next step is figuring out how to connect with the agricultural community to make that training happen.
After completing Lesson 1, you will be able to do the following:
- Describe the mutual benefits of connecting with the agricultural community for both fire/EMS and farmers/ranchers.
- Identify one key point that should be addressed when speaking to farmers/ranchers about agricultural safety.
- Explain the three “asks” of the RF-DASH philosophy.
