In this CoP, retired fire Lieutenant, Gina Gonzales, will be presenting on Large Animal rescue. Gina previously worked as a veterinary technician specialized in large animal emergency care, and has held a certification in Technical Animal Rescue since 2003. As a firefighter, she has served on her department’s Special Operations Team and the Disaster Animal Response Team for her county. She is a proven instructor with ample experience training first responders in Technical Animal Rescue in accordance with NFPA standards.
