The next RF-DASH Community Practice meeting is on September 5, 2025, from 11am to 12pm Central Time.
For this RF-DASH Community of Practice Meeting, we will have a special guest. Angie Johnson, Farm and Ranch Safety Specialist for North Dakota State University Extension, will be speaking to the group on her work to develop a network of Stop the Bleed trainers and trainees throughout rural North Dakota. This work is especially relevant to RF-DASH for several reasons: a) many RF-DASH trainers are also Stop the Bleed instructors or know instructors that they could work with; b) many rural areas are farm from ambulance services, creating long response times; c) agricultural injuries are likely to be traumatic/severe cases where Stop the Bleed methods will be more applicable than standard first aid techniques.
As usual, the second part of the meeting will be reserved for questions and group discussion.
